Why Every Health Event Needs to Talk About Intimacy

Better Recovery, Better Relationships, Better Quality of Life

Partner With Me To Improve Post-Surgery Outcomes

The people you serve have important questions about intimacy, dating, body image, and relationships that often go unanswered because they are afraid to ask them. Many support organizations and healthcare professionals recognize intimacy is an important part of recovery but have limited training, time, or practical resources to address it confidently.

Many of the people you serve continue struggling long after their surgeries with confidence, relationships, and intimacy, often without ever telling anyone about their fears or concerns. Support organizations and healthcare professionals cannot reasonably provide specialized support in every aspect of recovery, making trusted referral partners an important part of comprehensive post-surgery care.

Unlike traditional sex educators, my guidance is informed by both professional experience in intimacy coaching and personal experience living with an ostomy and multiple major surgeries. The people you serve are learning from someone who has rebuilt intimacy after the very challenges they're facing.

I work as an extension of your team, helping the people you serve:

  • Rebuild confidence after body-altering surgery

  • Navigate intimacy, dating, and relationship concerns

  • Reduce fear around body image, rejection, odor, leaks, and intimacy

  • Learn practical strategies for physical intimacy, including when penetration isn't possible

  • Improve communication with partners about surgery and sexual changes

  • Move from surviving surgery to living a full, connected life

Through presentations, workshops, and patient education, I provide practical guidance on:

  • Body image after surgery

  • Fear of intimacy and rejection

  • Rebuilding emotional connection

  • Communicating with partners

  • Non-penetrative intimacy and adaptive techniques

  • Dating after surgery

  • Reclaiming confidence and quality of life

I create a safe, judgment-free space where the people you serve can ask the questions they often never ask their surgeon, nurse, or physician; leaving with practical strategies, renewed hope, and greater confidence for life after surgery.

Benefits for Your Organization

  • Offer more comprehensive support without increasing staff workload.

  • Provide the people you serve with access to specialized intimacy support that's outside the scope of most support organizations or clinical appointments.

  • Give your team a trusted referral resource for conversations that require additional time or specialized expertise.

  • Enhance the value of your support groups, education programs, or events with a topic the people you serve consistently care about but rarely discuss.

  • Help the people you serve feel seen, heard, and supported throughout their recovery journey.

  • Demonstrate a commitment to whole-person recovery, not just physical healing.

  • Extend your continuum of care beyond surgery, emotional support, and medical follow-up.

  • Increase confidence that the people you serve have somewhere to turn when questions arise after they leave your event, care, or clinic.

Flexible Partnership Options

Every organization is different. Depending on your needs, presentations may be offered as:

  • Complimentary educational sessions

  • Honorarium-based presentations

  • Conference speaking engagements

  • Sponsored workshops

  • Private coaching referrals for interested patients

Let's discuss the option that best fits your organization and budget.

Next Steps

  1. Schedule a short discovery call.

  2. We'll discuss your audience and goals.

  3. I'll recommend the presentation or partnership that's the best fit.

  4. Together, we'll help the people you serve to move beyond recovery and back to living.

I'd love to learn about your organization and explore whether a partnership would benefit your members or patients. There is no obligation, just a conversation about what's possible.

Every person deserves the opportunity to heal physically, emotionally, and intimately after a body-altering surgery. If your organization shares that vision, I'd love to explore how we can make it a reality together.
